The Naples Junior Woman’s Club is a charitable, tax-exempt organization dedicated to promoting empowerment of people, providing access to education, and enhancing the lives of others through volunteer service. We continue to reach-out to our local community through support of emerging charitable organizations, under-funded programs, and those in need of a helping hand. As our membership has grown, the dedication and passion for philanthropic pursuits of each member has bettered our club’s ability to positively affect our community.
NJWC Member Pledge
I pledge my loyalty to Junior Club Women.
By doing better than ever before
what work I have to do:
By being prompt, honest, courteous:
By living each day
trying to accomplish something.
Not merely to exist.

Keep us, Oh God, from pettiness; let us be large in thought, in word, in deed.
Let us be done with fault-finding, and leave off self-seeking.
May we put away all pretense and meet each other face to face without self-pity and without prejudice.
May we never be hasty in judgement and always generous.
Let us take time for all things.
Make us to grow calm, serene, gentle.
Teach us to put into action our better impulses, straightforward and unafraid.
Grant that we may realize that it is the little things that create differences, that in the big things of life we are as one.
And may we strive to touch and to know the great common human heart of us all-
And, Oh Lord God, let us forget not to be kind.
Mary Stewart, April 1904
We have pledged to reach out to those that seek to actively serve the charitable needs of our community and continue our efforts for growth and community impact. We endeavor to support those groups who need us most and venture to participate with local emerging charitable organizations, under-funded organizations and those that simply just need more assistance. We believe in the power of each individual involved in the NJWC and their ability to make a difference.
Our organization has aligned with several amazing organizations in the Naples area, two of which are Providence House and Youth Haven. Providence House is an organization focused on providing transitional housing and self-sufficiency programs for motivated single women with young children who are homeless or at risk of becoming homeless. The volunteering NJWC participation with Providence House enables them to expand their impact in our community and provide support in their honorable mission. Youth Haven is Southwest Florida’s residential emergency shelter for boys and girls ages 6-16 that have been removed from their homes due to abuse, neglect, or abandonment. NJWC is partnering with Youth Haven to provide volunteer power to further their cause and enable them to extend the reach of their services and work to as many children as possible.
In 2019, NJWC is going to spread its wings into some NEW and exciting philanthropic projects with our focus being on the Senior Citizens of Collier County, we will be visiting our elders at their assisted living facilities, creating festive decor for their living spaces, hosting activities for crafting and socializing, and providing additional resources to them that may currently be lacking.
